About mai

“Mai” Sindhutai Sapakal Mother of Orphan children. She has devoted her life for the cause of orphan children. this is not a change of a day or two, it came after tremendous struggle and up and down in her life.

Her father Mr. Abhimanji Sathe was shepherd, who was anxious for his daughter’s education. He sends her to the school on pretext of grazing cow, much against of her mother’s wish. At the age of ten she got married with Mr. Shrihari Sapakal who was 30 years. It was an end to her education.
